Art & Artists 2003
A first for me was when my art was published in the Art & Artists publication of 2003 on page 67. What a proud moment I will cherish. To be part of so many talented artists in South Africa is a great honour for me.
Sir FAbian 2014-2015
I want to share Sir Fabian's journey and legacy...
Sir Fabian, the painting shown, was done in oils. He was a poaching victim and one of my first rhino paintings I ever made. The painting was shown in the Perth Gallery in Australia in January 2015 to educate and inform about the plight here in South Africa. He was auctioned in Australia in September 2015 for needed funds for the Australian Rhino Project. So in the end he did his part to try and save the rhinos even if he had to loose his life.
Hope is a 5 year old female rhino that was a poaching target a while back in 2015. She survived and doing better day by day. But to help her get better is costly. Adrian Stern is a professional photographer and gave me permission to paint his first photo he ever took of her after they found her. The painting was auctioned for R8000 and the funds went to Saving the Survivors to help in need. Her legacy still lives on every day.

SOLO SHOW "HOPE" @ GALLERY LEVISEUR, BLOEMFONTEIN 2016
Hope was the theme of my solo showing. Honouring two important subjects of Hope.
Firstly Hope the rhino, who died during my showing. A very sad day for me as she was a role model
and fighter for all our rhinos.
